The application is a 1999 454 block with a supercharger running 5 PSI boost. JE forged pistons, forged rods,Crane roller cam, lifters and rockers.

What brand of forged crankshafts have you had success with for the money?

Also, what brand of main & rod bearings have you had success with on this type of application?

Any insight is appreciated. Though I don't need to buy the most expensive thing out there, I would like to know what works well for a reasonable cost.

I have DuraBond cam bearings and Federal Mogul main and rod bearings. Clevite 77 is also very good.

My 502 was built with Clevite "H" series bearings. Recomended by builder. So far, so good!

Clevite "H" is what I heard from lots of engine houses at the Miami show.
