He dates way before that. Was in rag mag's forever.

Interesting on the dual plane vs that EFI having issues. Guess that makes another point to all of us to put 02 bungs in both tails, especially if using a dual plane.

wondering if a spacer plate would have fixed that, open style

History says, open spacers will mess up the fuel distribution up even more on a dual plane. History is with carburetors...but, carburetors can be stagger jetted to fix a good amt of this. Manufacturer tuned (GM and Holley) will even put little tabs or etc on one or some of the boosters to change fuel flow per throttle bore.

EFI would need to be able to change fueling bank to bank (obviously per cylinder even better) to help this. I was waiting for the guys on the video to do this, but they didn't. Is it because this particular Holley ECu not able to do this, or did they just chose not too ? I dunno. Does someone know that ECU's capabilities ?

Also remember, this was EFI system that placed the injectors at base of throttle body, making the manifold wet flow...not sure what a manifold like this would be like with Port Fuel injection...ie: injectors in the base of the runners aimed at the intake valve.

Nice comparison but what they don't tell is how much easier tuning the EFI system for part throttle is. How much of your time is spent cruising the streets at part throttle? HP numbers are nice but I would have to say driveability is WAY better parameter to compare.
