Does anybody recommend a good trailer tire. Besides Carlisle,size 225/75/15

For what it's worth, I bought these

I bought 2, then 2 more, finally 2 more (all six tires replaced) NO problems. Kept breaking belts before. (Goodyear etc) The shop that mounts my tires said most all trailer tires
are made in China.

Buy the highest load tire you can find in the size you need.

E load light truck tires. No trailer tires.

Same advice I always give:

1) Step up to 16" wheels if at all possible. Even if you have to raise your fenders a bit, it's worth it. Trailer wheels are cheap. More diameter means less heat.
2) Get LT E-rated truck tires, like discussed on several other threads; on the 16" wheels aforementioned.

3) If you have to stay with 15" trailer tires, go with the biggest size you can fit. Again, more diameter means less heat.
4) I will only buy Maxxis brand trailer tires. They are the best thing on the market. A friend did have a blowout of a sidewall on a brand new Maxxis tire, but we feel like that was an isolated flaw. Maxxis makes the only E-rated 15" trailer tires that I have found:

Definitely do not buy Carlisle.
I can't recommend Goodyear Marathons.

I've bought all of my Maxxis tires on eBay.

Be sure to care for your tires properly; also many other posts on this topic.
