I would love to see the skater king sting or something out of Performance Marine New York with big saris power

Need details of this new ABay event so we can plan, as well as convince poker runners from other regions to attend.

Kingston we'll assume not much is changing other than dates as it is a great event hosted by a very welcoming city.

Venue, dockage, format of proposed Shootout, activities schedule, etc..

Definitely looking forward to two great events !

The two events will be part of the 1st Annual (2016) King or Queen of the 1000 Islands Poker Run Championship. Powerboat enthusiasts from all over the nation are invited to participate in both Canadian and US Events and have a chance to become the crowned King (Queen) of the 1000 Islands poker run.

Alexandria Bay NY. Event venue: Host Hotel & docking – Edgewood Resort
Friday Lunch and Raft Up party and Bash party with live Band(Friday, July 22)
As the teams arrive they will have the possibility to go boating through the 1000 Islands for a fun Run and a lunch and tie off party to be determined with entertainment on the water. After tie off party follows the Bash party at the Edgewood Resort where general public will be invited to join the party – Live Band – Boat display and much more…..
Saturday (July 23rd)
After breakfast and drivers meeting, the boats will gather in front A Bay for the Poker Run kick off, the players will begin the fast-paced journey in the heart of the 1000 Islands, drawing cards at various stops to compete for “best hand” and various prizes. Stops will include Cape Vincent, Ogdensburg and lunch in picturesque Clayton, NY.

The Final Party will be at Edgewood Resort overlooking the beautiful Boldt Castle. The banquet and Awards party will include great food, live band and charity auction). The boats are docked and available for the public to view at the Edgewood. This will be the greatest display of powerboats that Alexandria Bay has ever seen!
FOR THE IMPORTANT PART…THE WARRIORS!!… This year’s event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Program. The Joker will also go wild $$$$ at one of the cards stop!!! Also additional exciting news to come ….. As we are also working at a Sunday Shootout!

Friday (August 19), Poker Run Fever
Kicks off with the downtown Kingston Key West-style street party, with performance boats on display, thousands of people walking on the street and enjoying the Boat display and exciting Bars and bands Poker run nightlife parties.

The1000 Islands Run (Saturday, August 20th)
After breakfast and drivers meeting, the boats will gather in front of the Kingston waterfront for the Poker Run kick off, the players will navigate through the heart of the 1000 Islands, drawing cards for “best hand”. Stops will include lunch in Brockville, Prescott, Gananoque and back to Kingston
The Joker will also go wild $$$$ at one of the cards stop!!! Also additional exciting news to come …..

The Cocktail and Banquet Diner and charity auction will be at the Kingston City Hall. The Awards will include The King (Queen) of the 1000 Islands and the Kingston 1000 Islands poker run winners which will be presented to the poker run teams and general public on a Giant Screen at the Market place.

There were discussions with the possibility of moving the event to Clayton this year, but unfortunately, the hotel room and banquet rooms was already book for weddings. After looking at different possibilities and scenarios it was decided to keep the event in ABay for this year to secure hosting for the participants.

Pardon my ignorance. When the 1000 Islands Poker Run was one of "THE" runs in North America it crossed between the US and Canada. Thus needing a passport. So, now the July Alexandria Bay is all in the US?

We are talking about two different events that are hold in the 1000 Islands and across each other

1000 Islands Alexandria Bay NY is a US which means that all the card stops are on the US side

1000 Islands Kingston Canada is on the Canadian site which means that all card stops are on the Canadian side

On both events you will be navigating in the International channel

for the US event if you anchor on the Canadian site you will need to report to custom the same with the Canadian event you would report to the US custom

if you participate to Alexandria Bay event and you are an American you do not need to report to Canadian custom - vice versa for the canadian and if you participate to the Kingston event - as an american you would have to report to the Canadian Customs
