We are looking for a Wheaton Terrier. Any pictures out there? We live in Michigan. Do you know of any Breeders?

I know that the national club has a web site. Try putting Soft Coated Wheaten in a search engine and you should get it. If memory serves me right...there is a club in Chicago. It seems that there are some health promlems with the breed here in the US so check the breeder carefully.

They are great dogs. I show and breed Irish Wolfhound and a friend and breeder in Ireland has both breeds. I usualy do not care for terriers but I really like the Wheatens.

I have a Wheaton that's about 10 months old now and it is a great dog. They're not really guard dogs because the get along with everyone, but that is part of the reason that we wanted to get one. They have a lot of energy, and we have been told that ours should calm down by the age of 2. I have some pics and will post them if possible..
