Default Cruising speed - too boring topic

Hi!

All of us discuss top speed. However, most of the time we cruise along the river / lake / ocean. So, to bring a "boring" topic forward:

What is your crusing speed at 4.000 rpms and 4.500 rpms? 3.500 rpms and 4.000 rpms for inboards?

My ol' lady Phantom 25 w/Promax 300 runs 52,5 mph at 4.000 rpms and 59,5 mph at 4.500 rpms. Tempest 26 blueprinted - 1:1.75 gears. Not bad for a heavy offshore hull (2.500 pounds). Top speed in the spring 78 mph at 6.100 rpms. 76 mph at 6.000 rpms in the summer.

Look forward to hearing back from ya.

Cheers, Toffen - Norway

Indy That was a mis print 42, I hit a 5 instead of a 4 , The other speeds are correct. I run a shaved 26pitch to a 25 pitch 4 blade with a twin stepped hull. I will re edit, Thanks
