Default "The Finest Hours" USCG movie

Saw it last night, I know it was embellished a bit to make it more of a story(Hollywood), but a very decent movie to watch and the rescue part is very accurate to life. Did anyone else like it but me? It doesn't look like it's doing well at the box office which I think is a shame. What they did with a 36 ft wooden boat is pretty heroic and the young Captain Webber certainly had a great deal of skill handling a boat in big seas.

Loved the movie !! I was especially intrigued that it was based on a true story.

When they were clearing the "BAR" on the way out I thought to myself about the scary situations that I had been in over the years that paled in comparison to what these guys endured !!!

Think about it...no GPS...NO COMPASS...in the dark !!! Knowledge of local waters and luck paid off!!
