Hello Everyone,

I have a 38Zx and in need of an electric anchoring system. The boat doesn't have any sort of anchor now, and I'm wanting one to deploy in calm weather at lake or river parks etc. I'd like one that's good looking, maybe chrome or stainless steel, and with the mechanism that will fit into my forward anchor hatch/locker area. Of my considerations are things like utilizing a rope rode that will be stored on a spool, in lieu of a pile of chain, because it's probably better than having loose chain slamming around down there and destroying the fiberglass/structure when running. In my research, I've only seen one of these types of setups, and the video didn't offer the manufacturer's name. So, I'm needing an anchor, the spool that stores the rode, and the windlass that pays out and draws up the anchor. Any thoughts?
