Default extension boxes on 28?? anyone tried?

was thinking if it would change the behavior and potentially top speed if i fit two extension boxes on my 28 Pantera with twin 383 and B1 drives??? any thoughts? I would then likely fit larger diameter props and maybe one pitch up. 23 rev4 to B1 24 or something the likes.

Ok might not be money well spend but I long ago came to terms with that in this hobby......:-)

just an idea, any thoughs?

The 28 single that had the crazy zigg zag yellow graphics and the yellow upholstery had a big extension box and a thousand hp. It was crazy fast if I remember like 115. But your probably gonna have a lot of trial and error with twins. I really don't know the reward is going to be worth the effort

Thanks for the input Joe. Never thought a Pantera would make it past 100:-)

Forgot to mention if i was to go for xboxes it would be with 3" lift.

I had an extension box on a race 28 single worked well,on a twin with stock power not sure if they would help much now if you upped the hp to 500-550 hp and spent some time on the setup it could nice package, you need to mount them up high and space them down and play with props to get it right
