I figured you get a laugh at that, Im almost done going over the boat. Now its time for the bottom, I have filled a few scratches from the trailer and lifting on and off. I hit it with 600 then 1200 and now im going to 2500 grit.. I was thinking of wheeling it with a sealer of some sort?
I know wax slows you down. What are you guys doing?

As for me, I polish and wax my bottom every year. Sure, I probably give up 0.01 MPH, but the boat looks awesome.

I do want every 1/10, but this year its going to be staying in the lake a lot more, and thought a little smoother would help and growth, that's why I was thinking sealer more than a wax

I should clarify. I don't use a classic Carnauba wax on mine. I use Menzerna Power Lock sealant on the whole boat including the bottom.
You will find that no wax or sealant will make much difference on marine growth though. Trust me, I work at a marina with almost 200 docks and our customers have tried just about everything.
