set back

Hi I have a 30 specter whit 300sx what would be the best set back.I see they have 5,8,10and12. What would be the engines height thanks

If I remember correctly the outboards we built were using the cmc 5.5" set back jack plates. I think we also set the engine height at 1 5/8" above the bottom
