I have these 4 blade clever style props and at 80 and starts walk chine walk and I really do not how to control it.
Would a set of regular props stop that?
I still want to run W.F.O. when the time is right.
Thoughts and advice are welcome.

Chine walking is not an unusual condition in faster Vee bottoms. Props, trim, balance etc all influence that condition. The actual cause will take too long for my short attention span to go over, but resign yourself to learning the skill of walking (balancing) your boat with the steering like a bicycle. The same skill works on all Vees. Using trim tabs is like training wheels on that same bike, may as well learn to ride without them. There should be lots of info on chine walk skills on the forum.
Work on it, it is fun when you get it.

I had the same problem, when I first ran my boat. Fixed the problem with imco full hydraulic steering, that corrected the problem. It is an expensive fix but it also added an extra safety feature. If your steering cable snaps at that speed you are dead. If full hydraulic fails you will be able to walk away from it.

Q4 propellers create more stern lift than some other rounder eared props. As the boat increases speed so does the stern lift created by the boat physics and the propellers.
So, less hull to balance requires more skill or a change in set op (props, X dimension etc.)
Call me anytime and we can discuss options.
