I have not ran the ECM i can ping it on the bench with MEFI Burn if you want or unlock it. I had a MEFI 3 on my 454 and bought a whole engine harness for a MEFI 4 8.1 and im going to spin my motor to 6800 its in a Vdrive boat. I have a reluctor wheel for a crank trigger set up to use the COP ignition i went to the 4B ecm to have tuning capabilities over 6000 rpm.

I am very familiar with OEM stock Volvo Penta and all of their ECM's plus their fuel injection set ups. I would like to be able to pull their cals from E controls ECM but I already talked to the head engineer about that one. Man they are tight lipped about everything.
So can I ask at what level or experience you have with marine ECM's ? I believe your reply with be MEFI 1 thru 4b. Just a guess on my part and just asking.
If you find time to pull them that would be great - if not no problem. Is your MEFI 4 a recal or stock tune to your knowledge ? THANKS for your time.

Yeah I've got familiar with MEFI burn on my person boat and some ramjet engines. I have a 1968 vdrive Flatbottom with a single plane EFI manifold and a 4150 style throttle body on it.
I have a BDM frame and pull calibrations from Bosch ecms for Duramaxs. The ktag unit I have however has a bunch of marine options and the Motorola 555 ECM is supported. I don't have one to test with though I check on eBay frequently they are pricey.
