This may sound kind of weird, but here goes.

My wife, daughter and I will be visiting the Clearwater / Tampa area the week of March 21st. We were planning to take a boat ride on one of yellow cats, or charter Captain Bob for a few hours. We'd rather go out on the ocean or ICW on something geared towards a little more speed. The money we were going to spend for that trip could go towards gas....


If there's anyone in the area that wouldn't mind 3 experienced passengers tagging along for a ride, I'd really appreciate it. We have gas $$ and can bring our own life jackets and we have a very flexible schedule.

I fear you may be a week early. The big Poker Run is the 1-3 April. Am sure people will have their boats out on the water that week. Are you staying in Clearwater or over in Tampa area?

We're staying in Clearwater Monday through Friday morning.

yes, we're one week early for the poker run. If I could change dates I would, but the week we'll be there is the week my daughter has off from school.

Ryan, I would offer you a whizz around on my locally based Formula 310SS, as I am just south of Clearwater Beach, but am not due intron until Wednesday 30th March. Am keeping everything crossed somebody will step in and help. We have an excellent boating area here and some amazing weather. Cruising the islands to the north and blasting across the Gulf in addition to looking at the houses on the ICW is a great way to spend a day.
