I have 2) Bravo 1 outdrives. I am parting a 38 formula. I removed the top cap to confirm that the top gear does in fact have 29 teeth which confirms they are 1.36 ratio. They are painted with anti-fouling paint, but underneath the original mercruiser paint appears to be in really good condition. No real lifting of factory paint caused by oxidation of aluminum. One of the drives has a low water pickup on front of the nose. The skegs are in good condition. U-joints are smooth and rotate easily. I believe the drive with the LWP is newer (obviously, Ujoints, etc are cleaner) replaced and is priced at $1300, the other drive is priced at $1100.
