there are a fair number of 272's listed in various places and the conditions of the boats vary greatly as does the owners perspective of their boat.

I'm looking for some solid leads from folks here hoping to get some non biased opinions. Trying to do a nation wide search is proving more challenging than I had anticipated.

my post was describing what i found and bought and paid as a reference for you, my opinion is based on my experience is a 88 89 272 thats real nice, unmolested with a trailer, fresh water only should be in the high teens low 20's.

@ oconnor marine - obviously it is just my opinion, but high teens to low 20's seems high to me. I would have placed a sale price in the mid teens, but maybe I am way off?

depends on where, and colors, often people will pay extra to stay away from the palm beach stuff, he bought a palm beach boat I believe thou, but it depends on how far, and a few other factors, a very nice 272 in exc shape on a nice trailer I'd pay 20, check out Detroit craigslist one was just listed, looks nice and has mags, very few 272's had mags
