I have a 1989 30' steve stepp hull and I am looking to see if someone can tell me if this hull is a cored haul. I am adding a in hull transducer but it will not work if it is cored Thanks

If it has a cord, there is a LOT of wood in the boat,....... However if it has a core, particularly balsa and you cut and/or drill into it to mount a transducer, make sure you seal it good. When you think you have it sealed, seal some more.

It is no big deal, I had to do it my 1998 280. Use a appropriate size hole saw wit a short drill bit and remove the bit after the hole saw gets a good start. Seal it up good as stated elsewhere.
