Default Custom rear bumpers for dodge

I have an 06 Cummins Ram 2500. The factory bumper/hitch set up is retarded. If I upgrade to a better hitch, like a Curt, it mounts below the existing hitch. Looks absolutely stupid as far as I'm concerned. So my question is, are there any aftermarket 'drop bumpers" per se, that would hide/cover the factory hitch, to give a clean appearance of only having one hitch?

Almost all of the aftermarket hitches hang at least an inch, maybe even 3, or 4; below the factory bumpers. This allows for variances in different bumper types without different hitches. I'd look into a one of the true Class-V hitch from Curt or similar. Check www.etrailer.com for options and you may find it cheaper on eBay or Amazon.

There are LOTS of aftermarket bumpers. www.ranchhand.com is probably the most popular, but they are PRICEY. They have some with integrated hitches which may be an option if they are rated properly.

But then you are going to need a front bumper to match. It never ends. But running "Texas" bumpers in NJ would be awesome. I'd beat the piss out of the front one with a sledgehammer and let it rust up a bit. Then folks will know you are not backing down when they go to cut in front of you.
