Default Mark IV 502 oil cooler and water hose

I'm looking for a Mark IV 502 Oil Cooler and the water hoses, especially the hose from the cooler to the thermostat housing. The cooler is a 3" x 19" cooler, the exit hose is on top of the cooler unlike an HP cooler, where both hoses connect to the bottom of the cooler.

I'm also looking for the hose that connects from the cooler to the thermostat housing.

Look on eBay right now. Looks a little smaller but claims for a 502. 100.00. It's at lest the same Style your looking for but might be a little smaller. Don't have measurements but looks like 2+ X 18 or so

I'll check it out. I have that hp 500 coming. I may just run that one until I find what i need to match the other engine. That's the nice thing with a rear cooler, it's easy to change coolers if needed.

You will need the bigger cooler.

Thanks- I see Mr. Cool has the cooler, the tough part is that upper hose- nobody makes it anymore. I think my only option is going to be, splice two hoses so I can get the right angles.

I would think that you could go to a boat bone yard and get one. They don't exactly go bad.

Mike just left shop and we were curious if you had oil temp gauges when you ran those engines. Btw way he's getting them all pimped out. Lol.

No I did not have oil temp gauges but after a couple minutes of full throttle the oil pressure would drop about 10 PSI So my guess is the oil was getting hot. The same engine in the Daytona ( that did have an oil temp gauge ) showed the oil getting hot 250*.
Define pimped out. Paint or chrome???

I just made some small changes.
Painted the intakes Merc blue
Installed new valve covers (525 EFI's)
Keith Eickert Thermostatic oil filter heads, with AN-12 fittings.
Wilson Manifold carb spacers (matched perfectly with your blending)

I'll most likely run AN lines for the fuel, thats about it.
New oil coolers
There isn't much else to do. Internally you already have them set!
