Default New Prop Test Forth Coming on a 260 w/a 496 MAG/1.5 Gear Ratio

In the month of May I will be testing a new prop and will post results for those interested. I currently run a Bravo 1 (BBlades version) 26P. Currently with the wife and I in the boat and 80 gallons of fuel, boat loaded for a normal day on the water it hits the limiter at WOT. So I'm going to try a Bravo 1 FS, 28P and see what goes.......... I'll post back as soon as my PCM gets back from reflash and my first day out afterwards.

I've always like to prop to be close to the rev limiter running lightweight and low fuel. That way on your normal run days you're not bouncing off the rev limiter. Sounds to me like a lab 28 from bblades would be your best bet.

Gonna try it out of the box first, then maybe I'll have to throw some $$$$ at it to fine tune...😁

If you can get a 26 hydromotive to try it could be interesting. In a 280 it is usually faster. A Bravo stays hooked up a little better but once you are used to it that is not a problem.
