Nothing to win but bragging rights. I dread every two years when the new registration stickers come. Usually just hoping they will color coordinate with the hull but this year…..

PA is the same way... They run a two year cycle with Blue/Green on the odd years and Red/Orange for the even years.
When I ordered my 2008 32 SSR, I had Mitcher T do two paint rendering in colors to accommodate both sticker series until I could confirm my delivery date so it wouldn't clash.
I didn't spec out the paint on the current boat. I picked the boat up in November but waited until March to register it to avoid the dreaded Blue/Green stickers!

No-dicker-with-sticker on documented boats in VA.
Fortunately, my little blue cat has a blue sticker on it this cycle for VA DGIF.
Now those ridiculous Automobile Windshield Safety Stickers though; I HATE THEM. My mechanic lets me remove and install them myself. It's a REAL PITA on the Vette. (Sore topic, just had to climb in Vette with a razorblade on a wand last night.)

I'm just impressed with amount of stupid information they put on it. The old ones worked for decades. Like they really needed to write "Expires" on it and everybody already knew they were good until "Dec 31". I obviously "Paid" as opposed to "Stolen". I understand there is unpaid stickers (under 6hp) but maybe they should have had "Unpaid" or some other mark on them.
