The Chicago Offshore Powerboat Squadron is throwing a Halloween bash!!! Everyone is welcome! The party will be at the Hammond Yacht Club on Saturday October 26th at 7:00 p.m. The price is $20.00 per person. The price will include a prime rib buffet dinner. There will be a full service cash bar. Wear your best Pirate costume. This will be a great way to end the season. Please email if you plan to attend. [email protected] or call 773-209-8301.

Great i'm glad to see the Yacht club came thru this time.
Count me in for 2. Plus I'm sure the rest of the Hammond crew will be there.

Did you get this year's Indy Poker run tape yet?
I hope you guys got the cleaning finished early today. It looks great out. Wish I could have made the MC run. At this point I'm just happy not to be coughing.
Maybe next weekend. I saw 80's by midweek.

So far I have four definites in my group, maybe more later.
I have a question. How do you know if your a COPS member? At the last Chicago to Hammond run I signed some papers, donated some money and bought a T shirt. Are there more requirements to belong?

Yep, that’s answers my question. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't have to grow my hair long, get a tattoo or get something pierced to join. The tattoo or piercing would be OK but I refuse (or can't) grow my hair long.
But seriously, I think your doing a great thing. I was getting board with boating. Before we would go 20 miles north then 20 miles south and back home. This has added much more meaning and fun to the sport for me. Thanks
