Default inner liner floor repair?

Can an inner liner floor be repaired? Looks like a big section of a the floor in a 30 outlaw was cut out, then put back in. You can see the seems where is was cut out. Maybe they had a gas tank issue. Can the floor be glassed/glued back in? Can the seam be filled and re-gel coated to match the texture and color of the current floor? Can the whole floor be re-gel coated? What is the process. I haven't seen the boat in person, but the owner claims the floor is solid as a rock and the seam is sealed. That's the way he purchased it.

Fiberglass is the adult version of paper machae. Its doable, the outcome is entirely dependent upon your level of skill and finesse though. Somebody good could do it perfectly in their sleep, Somebody with less experience could do it, but it would look like Fred and Barney did it after a couple 12 packs of Bronto Beer....
