I will try to cut this short.
Had found P engine set at 4BTDC so I changed both to 10 to see how she would run.
Take her out today, S battery dead, S engine vapor locked from previous run. Rob fuel from P filter and put in S.. Good to go!
Ran good, started into lake and S engine killed 3x's then no power at key. I figured I had a loose wire in the dash.
Get to where we were rafting up and found that the lead from the kill switch was almost out the molex plug behind dash. Took apart, pushed back in, tie wrapped.. Good to go.
Then..... As we were coming home through the bayou, I figured I would open her up for a second when it was clear and straight (so I could see any traffic, etc. in canal). Flat water, all 4 kids life jackets and seated, wife and her friend seated as well...
Pushed sticks forward and she immediately climbed over 4500 and right as she was quickly passing 4800 there it was! That sound..
Exhaust screaming, but I definitly heard it.... Sound from a nagging wife!!!
"SSLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWW DOOOWWWWNNN!

She is definitly running better, she never climbed that fast on upper Rpms so I am guess the P was a lil lazy when it was at 4 BTDC. We will have to see how she does next weekend I guess!!!!
