Does anyone know if Bay Propeller on S. Military HWY is still in business? I've called for the last 2 days and got nothing but an answering machine.

I heard they closed the doors!!! Murphy prop shop is still open, but I have never had any dealins with them.

Thanks and your right, all closed up. I ended up being in the area over the weekend and went by there only to find it out of business. He had been doing my prop for the last 10-12 years. I was trying to pick up a new Power Tech hub which is not easy to find for some reason.

On the up side I stopped by HM Marine and even though he was technically closed and didn't have the correct hub laying around he hooked me up non the less. He called his contact over at Murphy's, who by the way was closed too, and within a few hours the correct hub was delivered right to me. Every now and then there's a positive story coming from the marine industry and this is one of them. Even though the dollar amount was not much, around $50, HM and Murphy have earned whatever business I can give them.

That's great!! I am good friends with HM, William Braun. We talk every Wednesday at the auction, good guy.(except when we are bidding on the same boats!!!lol) I don't know what happen to Bay, they always seemed busy and had a pretty good rep. around here.
