I have a 2000 27 Fountain Fever with a 2000 (myco style, can't remember manufacturer) trailer. The problem is the drain hole (and cover) from the anchor locker has always hit the front bunks when loading and unloading. I've been trying to figure out a way to correct this by looking at different pictures of 27's and the trailers they are using. In doing so, I came across this picture that shows the drain hole in a different location than mine. It is located above the top most strake, while mine is below. Anyone know when or why Fountain would have changed this? Also, any solutions?
thanks in advance.

round off the square edge that bumps / hits the chine and the drain, and put a flush mount drain on the boat.

i also use hi density poly something lyne on the bunks and bow stop because i think the carpet is bad for the boat and keeps the bunks wet.
