Howdy, I searched the posts but couldnt find this issue. I have a two 454 mag year 2000 OL632884. The starboard has the issue. The port motor is fine and runs great. When I turned the key I had the normal Beep Beep and then I started the motor. It ran fine but died out after I rev'd up the engine. I put it in the water and then noticed my beep beep was gone after I turned on the ignition. The boat started but had a hard time acceleraring up. It rev up to over 4000 rpm but it seems if it was at half power. I took the boat out and looked for any obvious fuses. I even clean out the motor and checked the impeller. Any suggestions as to what to look for next? The other motor runs fine by the way.
