Not looking to be the fastest out there, looking for a reliable smooth ride. I'm on a $30,000 budget and looks like only the early 302 fits that. My only requirements are wind screen and fuel injected motors, I would like to have the extended swim platform but they seem rare. Twin 7.4mpi's would get me to 60mph correct? Coming from a 25 aggressor I got extremely claustrophobic and am looking for the largest cockpit! The 29 looks to be similar to a 25 and the 302 looks larger than the 33?

33 and the 342 will have the largest cockpit of them. We call it the dance floor. But for 30K I don't think you will find one.
If you NEED a windshield, you already narrowed it down to a 302. If there isn't already a extended swim deck on the 302 (witch is a MUST have) either a custom one or call http://www.swimplatforms.com/ . They make one for about $2k.

I've owned a 29 OL, 302, and 342. All 1999s. They all have pluses and minuses and minor changes depending on years. I think my favorite of the 3 was the 302. Larger cockpit than both. 33 will have largest cockpit by far. But the swim platform was down right dangerous on 302. Both the 29 and 30 had 7.4 MPIs. Both ran 62ish on a good day. Both easily trailered with a 1/2 ton. The 342 was a whole different ball game. With 502s, genset, AC, full head, etc. The boat was much heavier and pulled like it. Until I added electric brakes it would drag my F350 down the ramp while backing it in. Fuel bill was high but the she was a tank and would run easily through any inland slop. I boated on the Ohio River. I thought the 302 was the best combo for a couple more people, coolers and party hopping. 7.4s were great on gas compared to 502s in the 342. You will not find a clean 33 or 34w for 30k. You're even pushing it for a post 2000 29 or 302. None of these boats are getting any younger are parts are getting scarce to come by. Use the search here. There have been many threads comparing the 29 to 302 and 33 to 342.
I'd forget about colors, windsheild vs wind screen and the like. I'd buy whatever is the ceanest at the best price. You're going to have to sacrifice something with such a tight budget.
