OK Sunsation guys, anyone install external hydraulic steering on their boat, particularly Maiyfair and if so, how was the install process? Looking at the dual ram, single Bravo full hydraulic setup.

I installed an Imco full hydraulic dual ram system on my 1995 288 many years ago. Took a little while to measure three times and drill once, but went fine. Best thing that I have ever done to a boat. You won't regret it.

I installed single ram Imco add on system on my Nordic and the worst part was drilling the holes in the transom, triple check your crank centerline and your ram mount holes before you drill, and don't forget to seal every hole, I did both inside and out but pay special attention to the outside to avoid rot down the road, after the first hole is through the rest go easier
