So I ordered Torco MTF for my #6 drives, well Amazon decided to switch it up today (it was supposed to arrive today) and it will be delivered mid July. FML, I need it in my drive by friday!

I need something readily available that will work for at least this weekend. 80-90 lucas? 85-140?

I drained my drives last night as the tracking said it would be here!

Get Torco's # now, find reatilers near you. Then call them to verify. Maybe good news is there are a bunch of snowmobile, ATV, etc places in MI, and a lot of them love and carry Torco stuff.

Just use the Mercury Racing gear lube for those drives SAE 85W-90 prt# 92-8M0078016 ,, Its what I have used for years and replaced the Torco

Yep, the recommended drive oil is now merc racing gold, 85W-90. Not torco

The whole issue getting an oil by tomorrow, I know what is recommended. Amazon prime let me down for the first time.

Have Prime deliver the right Torco product tomorrow , get amazon deliveries next day all the time

75-140 m1 gear oil is as good as any and commonly available at autozone and others or their 75-90. GL-5 is the rating you are looking for, full synthetic generally is best, the 140 is going to have more drag than the 90 weight. I cant see a problem with going with an oil that meets or exceeds oem specs
