Default Hi-Tec Marine 750hp NA in an old 32 Hustler. Any info??

I just bought an old 1986 32 Hustler with Hi-Tec 750hp NA engines. Does anybody remember these from back in the day??

I think the builder was from out on Long Island and his name was Scott Schaferov (SP?)

Give Paul fiore a buzz at outerlimits I'm sure he'd be happy to tell you whatever he knows about them. Great guy to talk to.

I didn't know they did marine engine packages like that....cool....they have been around forever. They are more known for their drag racing big block nitrous engines and the like.

SB, I just talked to him and he did infact build these engines. 615CI blocks and all crower internals with dart heads and intakes. Pretty cool stuff. They're also for sale and will run them on the hose if someone is interested.

I had my original Mercury 370's warmed up by Scott in 1989. We met on the dock at the Miami Boat Show.
