Default Hydraulic Roller Lifter Lash Settings with Shaft Mount Mockers?

OK, need to adjust these rockers today. I see a lot of recommended lash adjustments, 1/2 to 1 full turn. My question is relating to the shaft type rocker as the adjuster is actually on the push rod so the 1.7 ratio is involved...unlike the traditional rocker where the adjuster is on the stud. I am thinking 1/2 turn past 0 lash.

Only have one opportunity to get this right because I am not pulling the headers off this beoitch again.

Your thinking the wrong way. If your adjuster is on the push rod, you need more turns to get the same pre-load as a stud mounted rocker.

If the thread is 7/16-20 one turn would be .050 preload.

Called the engine builder, he said 1/4 turn past zero lash. A full turn started opening the valve.

What cam, lifters, and springs. Sounds kinda light for pre-load.

I can see where you are coming from on your thinking, but that is not the case. Two motor builders confirmed zero lash 1/4 turn calculating 7/16 20 pitch threads.

Morels, TCM Camshaft: STAGE 4, MARK IV & GEN V, HYDRAULIC ROLLER
Operating Range: 4000-7200 RPM
Duration Advertised: 318° Intake / 326° Exhaust
Duration @ .050'' Lift: 256° Intake / 264° Exhaust
Gross Valve Lift: .632 Intake / .632 Exhaust
Lobe Separation Angle: 114°

Had it out today, after lifters pumped up it sounded great.
