Typical of a gas station stop. Get asked why do you need that? You can't do anything with it, does it even have a rod holder?

So relied with........ I don't need it but your wife makes a good rod holder.

People need to hate to feel better about what they don't have.

They go back to their car, wife, 9 kids, and no friends and have their check puffed.

I'm getting one of these so I can be like "it's right there, now shut up and go away!" Plus, it'll hold a flag on 4th of July. 'Murica!

People will ask questions - most will keep admiring as they ask.

When I was 21 yrs old and bought my first 22ft Velocity raceboat, my dad asked that same question. We always fished together while I was growing up, he had a 25ft Searay. I asked him to go for a ride and he made every excuse in the world not to! He finally gave in and after 2hrs in the Gulf, He asked me if he be the driver at the 1st race. He was hooked from there out! We still used his boat for fishing!

"You don't fish or ski with it?" *looking puzzled* "Then what do you do with it?"

"Kick ass."

I dont mind the questions at all but if its a smart a$$ comment or someone trying to be cute I will usually fire back. One of my favorite comebacks to the "why" question is "your mom likes the cuddy". I know its juvenile but it make me laugh everytime.
