87/89/92 Octane for stock 496 AVS
So this questions came up in a recent discussion. Just want to make sure I'm right on this. Bone stock 496s
The 496 engines on a stock 33 AVS Scarab are set up to run 87 Octane correct?
There will be no performance boost running 89 or 91+?
In fact (from what I read) running 89 or higher may actually result in less HP and performance (due to the sensors/ECU).
Of course I always run an ethanol eliminator product in every tank.
