Default propellers fit on #6 shaft and NXT shaft?

I am trying to try a different propeller on my NXT's and I always assumed and the mercury website shows the same propeller for NXT and #6 but the splines are on different sides on the prop shafts.
#6 shafts have the splines towards the threads and the NXT have the splines towards the water pickups. Can you swap the spacers and splines around inside the propellers? If so tips on how?

Thank you

Thers is an adapter you need to make the 6 prop work on the NXT. We have a pair of them in stock. They retail for $385.00 each. You will also need a plastic collar and snap ring to adapt.
