Just purchased my first Fountain Fever. Boat is in decent shape, but the rub rail is in bad shape. The Rub rail base is smashed up in a small area on the Starboard side located on the base section that wraps around the stern. Also would like to replace the entire rub rail. color is white. Could someone please point me in the right direction on where I could purchase this? I'm also looking for a cockpit cover as well. Does Fountain sell this type of stuff still? I'm in Columbia, SC on Lake Murray. Thank you.

Call Tony/Denise Garrison at Merlin Marine in Atlanta, they have some good contacts on covers. They had someone in Atlanta make one for my 38. Turned out quite well. Sunbrella material, snaps were all properly located, took about 5 days and 3 measurements. I took the boat to them and they performed some work while it was made. +1 (770) 932-6694 [email protected]

As for the cockpit cover. I have a factory Fountain one on my 32 and I'm not a big fan of the material. It's stiff and hard to get and snapped. I had one made out of Sunbrella for my Scarab at an upholstery shop and it's way way better. I'm looking forward to the day my Fountain one is worn out so I can get a new one made. The problem is the stiff heavy f***king thing is tough and will probably out live me.
