I am looking at a boat that had new 525efi motors (crate motors) installed in 2006, it now has 211hrs on it. They installed Hardin Marine exhaust instead of CMI. Does Hardin Marine exhaust have the same problems CMI does?

Are they the hurricane ones?

I am not sure, I am trying to find out. Not sure what they made in 2006.

Well I found out they are NOT Hardin Marine exhaust they are CMI The motors are crate motors so I don't know if the exhaust came from CMI or Mercury marine. I read some place that the real CMIs are better than the Mercury CMI. I have the serial & model numbers, I will call CMI tomorrow maybe they can tell me something.
