I'm looking into buying a 1999 raizor but can't seem to find much info. on them. Anyone know how they ride or handle for the size they are. Also always had checkmate so not sure what to look for on these as far as problem areas? The boat is equipped nicely with the 454 mag mpi w/ bravo one and only 390hrs. Any advice be greatly appreciated.

I've got a 1998 Raizor with a 350 and Bravo One. Runs about 60 top speed, you should see 65+.
Being a shallower hull, you feel the chop more in a Raizer vs other 22ft boats, but the ride isn't objectionable if you match your speeds to the conditions.
Any waves will cause the nose to rise, as there is almost no weight up front.
I plan to add trim tabs (have them, just need in install) to help with holeshot and porpoising.
Great boat for the size, and I have no plans on upgrading in the near future.
Source: I live 3 miles from Lake Michigan and am on the water (almost) too much.
