Fellas,
I'd love to pick up a Nortech 43, but am wondering why this boat has been for sale for YEARS. The date added says 2012. 179k seems to be a good price for Nortech 1000s and #6s. What's going on? Any inside info??

Old boat, old power and 2005 swirl paint makes a trifecta of trouble..... Similar to the 46 Rough Rider with fresh Cobra power and warranty that has been for sale as long if not longer than this NT. Both owners would benefit from new pics, preferably in water and new descriptions written for the ads.

All good points. I think the paint is hideous also, and would probably have to drop another 20k to have it redone if I bought it.
I might be derailing my own thread, but it's a shame that non-Merc boats sell for so much less. Don't get me wrong, Merc builds great power, but their mark-up is ridiculous, as is the fact that so many boaters won't purchase go-fasts unless they have Merc motors. Those NT 1000s are probably 90% the engines that Merc 1075s are, but the boat would be worth tens of thousands more with 1075s. From a marketing standpoint - nice job, Mercury. From a common sense standpoint, it's absurd!!

In either case if the motors are 2005's they are soon to be anchors.
