A member on here stated that the when the prop name was switched from mercruiser bravo 1 to mercury bravo one the rake was also changed too and that mercruiser was 2-3mph faster. Is this statement correct about the rake been different. I have a pair of mercruiser bravo one 26p that i some work done on and is 1mph faster than my stock 28p mercury bravo one.

The rake was not changed.
The only difference is the Mercruiser uses the older 1/4" longer SS insert than the Mercury casting. This was done to uniform the prop models.
