I'd say it depends, as always on the boat. Any early '90's boat that hasn't been inside is more than likely to have rot in all the known places. Any (especially triple engine) Baja that didn't get the through transom holes sealed properly (like a bunch didn't) is that much more likely to be rotten.
They are solid boats and will take big water just fine.

There are alot of amenities in that cabin to get beat up.......had a buddy run his in a poker run and the entire port side sink, counter top fridge section broke loose from the floor.
Its only held in by wood screws. The hull will take it. Its everything else that gets beat up bad.

Mine is a 2003 and we have done quite a few poker runs plus trips to Key West, Bahamas and while I don't have anywhere near the power you will have, I have been in some snotty water. Boat has held up well with only a few minor issues. Transom plates removed two years ago and transom checked and all was sealed and dry. Yes you have to tighten a few screws after some long and rough runs but have found that if someone says that their boat never had any screws loose, they were stretching the truth! Great boats! Lots of room! We have certainly enjoyed ours.
