Default How do I know which axles I have?

8 lug on 6 1/2
3" diameter axles.

I`m gonna pull the trigger on EOH but it seems my axles could be from 6K to 7200#

8 lug is 7k
6 lug is 5k (sometimes 6k)
5 lug is 3.5k

This is for 99% of trailers so I would say you have 7k axles.

I just did one. The spindle diameter determined the weight

6000-8000lb all use the same spindle if they are dexter or rockwell. They use a smaller outer bearing on the 6000, but the bearings on 7k and 8k are the same. On electric drum brake axles, shoe width and lug size are the only differences between the 7k and 8k. Ultimately, it should be listed on the VIN tag on the trailer though.

I noticed only a couple wheels lock up when the trailer is empty. Not sure what they need but every raves about the EOH so instead of bying new part for electric I might as well...

Please post the final results, I'll be crossing that bridge later in the year and will need to make a decision on which way to go.
