I love the red boats. I have 2 red 250 sports not far from me. From the pic they look like nice boats both ready for the water. Here's where I have concerns. One is listed twice as much as the other but they are both more than NADA suggest. From what I understand a boat is far from an investment from a finacial standpoint, all the return comes in fun. So I definitely do not want to start under water so to speak with something my family may not want to spend the time on.
Thanks for any advice.

For some reason I can't share the listings.
Both are 89 250 sports.
One is all red no sripes $12,000.00 and supposed to have only 40 hours on new magnum 454 has a matching red tandem trailer ready for water.
The other is identical with The exeption of the classic black and grey stripes same 454 Magnum but with 1000 hours, has a new aluminum load right tandem trailer asking $7500.00 ready for water
The interiors are identical red black and white with drop bolsters.

In my opinion,1000 hours is getting close to rebuild on motor and drive which could run you on average $5-6k. So if you had to do that to the one for 7500 at least then you would know what you had into it.
I would think $10-12k into either one of those boats wouldn't be a bad deal, if they are in good shape, another thing to look for is interior, that could run you $2500 - $5000 to replace
