Bad deal today . I was not on that side of Grand Island but I was taking pics at the Peace Bridge on the Northbound leg and again at the International Train Bridge at the foot of Jarvis St in Fort Erie.

The Club did tell the participants this year the River in was a 55mph speed limit in certain areas and I have been in this run several years ago and have watched it for years now either by boat or from shore.

It was quite a subdued northbound run by all the boats this year from my experiance . Winds were quite gusty out of the SW which can be a problem in the East River.

Hoping for a full recovery

If someone from the club could post an update in a day or two as to his recovery, that would be great.

It's a hard thing to watch and the second one I've seen in the last 4 weeks (Lanier)...

As of yesterday evening Chris is doing a little better. He is still in critical condition but they are seeing some positive signs. He is not out of the woods yet so please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers.....
