So, more prop talk. As we all know out of the hole performance is lacking on these boats with the stock setup. I tried to get through to BBlades, which was difficult as they must be exceptionally busy. I know it cost more, but decided to spring for a set of 26p instead. The results are very good. Out of the hole is way better. As far as the top end goes, the boat reached 69 on GPS at 5000 RPM, 1/2 tank fuel, 2 people, 95 degrees. I was pleasantly surprised as top speed with the 28's was 70-71 with the same conditions. Around 300' elevation.
Today I am going to remove the beauty covers on the FA's and see what happens. One other note, my boat is a 2008, with 6.2's, captain's choice exhaust with the baffles removed. The air intake thread has been interesting. I look forward to hearing the results.

Nice to hear. I also have a set of 26s on order. One has arrived, and the other is back ordered and should be delivered in a week or so. This is not the first time this has benn done, always with reported success. Right now, I have stock 28s on it, and unless you over trim, it will top out around 4800 rpm. These engines should run to 5200, so I would estimate that you are perfect when it cools down a little.
