26 Daytona speed extimate
#9
Sunday with the 28 Bravo I made three runs - With ALL of the changes I made to this boat I have to learn how to drive the boat again. How much trim - brand new engine so I have to really watch the gauges.
First run was short but I hit 102, second run I trimmed up a little more and hit 112 and was still gaining but ran out of room. third run was short and I hit 106.
I still need to try the labbed 30 Bravo. I need to hit 6400 RPM.
My slip numbers are crazy. ( 28 Bravo ) so 27 for pitch, 1.36 or 1.34 ratio, 6100 RPM, 112 MPH on two GPS speedos, = less than 4% slip IF I am doing it right.
Probably going to have to buy a Labbed BRAVO 28

I have to modify the water pick up on the IMCO lower. going to move the water pick up hole back about halfway to the start of the skag. I am running so high that I am loosing water pressure.
This boat really hooks up - once on plane When I roll into the throttle it REALLY takes off.
