Default Water Pump leaking oil?

I have a 2003 353 FasTech with 217 hours on it. The engines are Mercury 500 efi's. I just noticed today that the starboard engine has some oil leaking from the bottom of the impeller housing. I have no idea what is going on? It has good temp, good oil pressure, and nothing else seems unusual. Does the water pump have an oil reservoir? I am stumped? Anybody out there that can help I would greatly appreciate it! Also, the impellers were just replaced and no issues with that. Thanks again.

On your sea water pump assy, it is filled with oil and one of the smaller seals internally has failed allowing oil to leak from the weep hole. You need to rebuild the fuel pump portion of the sea water pump assy. There is a how-to explanation in this forum. Just search and you will find it. We rebuild the water pump assemblies annually for people. Not a hard task, just need to have the right tools along with the proper bearings and seals.
