Would the fountain owners show me where you put speakers in your boat, preferably in the cockpit?
Im getting ready to do the stereo in my 32 and need ideas. The previous owner put two 10" subs under the rear seat and put 6.5" speakers beside them, unfortunately he kind of staggered the 6.5" to the subs so I'm not sure I can get a second set of 10" subs beside the ones already installed.
Im thinking about adding a set of 7..7" speakers on the flat side mounting surfaces right beside the cabin door. It appears to be the easiest location and would allow the driver and passenger to hear the music at speed better.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Mine had them on the transom when I got it. It's kinda cool and has it's own volume adjustment. See video.

Cockpit.. Yea on this sides. You can hear it fine if you have some good amps. and it beats having speakers anywhere you see them in your view when driving. Hope this helps. Chad

6.5's will fit where the light up emblems go on either side of the rear bench and I've heard 7.7's will fit there as well with some trimming or with a light up speaker ring and no trimming if I recall. Mine came with 6.5's as I described and in the front cockpit area as well mounted down low (in front of the little storage compartments by your feet). I'm planning to install some 8.8's in their place that I have since there is plenty of room there.

I really want to keep my light up emblems. So, I'd like to mount them up by the driver and passenger somewhere. Either like in the pic or by the cabin door facing each other most probably.
Really like to go 7.7" for a fuller sound

the speaker grills are 6.5 and there is more room. Mine has the stereo control right there too. Measure yours. you should not have a problem with bigger speakers. My boat just has 14 of the 6 inch speakers plus the subs. Also you can see the other one on that side by the floor if you look through the steering wheel
