So NASCAT was taking a well-deserved vacation to Thailand this week. Before he left he told me he was sending me something. Usually that would mean a screen shot of the NASCAR standings. LOL
He sent me a Facebook message from Dubai while he was enroute to tell me a package was shipped to my home. It arrived today. This has to be one of the best packages I could imagine getting. We opened it up and there was a note and two of the nicest, largest SKATER towels I have ever seen.
NASCAT, you are a gentleman and I am glad to call you a friend. Safe travels, next round on me when you come to Nor-Tech to pick up your boat.

Michael is first class all the way. Before we ever had met in person while visiting NC Lake Norman he offered to have our whole family over to Hendricks Motorsports for a personal after hours tour.
Even spent time on his last Nortech on Lake Norman.
I am also glad to call him a friend!

To All,
Thanks for the kind remarks, feelings mutual and Lucky Strike hit the nail on the head, especially nowadays.
My initial intent was "Gift / Tax Write Off" but now I just can't bring myself to send the 1099.

Thailand......? Wonderful country, great vacation spot for families, couples and singles.
If you need any help or want to know something while visiting, PM me. (I'm near Pattaya)
Jon.
P.S. If you're in my area, I'll take you boating but I've only got an old CC..........

This is actually my 3rd journey to Thailand, in fact my wife is Thai. We were married in the US this past Dec but made it a point to get back to Thailand this year for a private celebration (today) w/ my wife's family. She's 1 of 3 daughters and the first to be married so we wanted to make sure we did something that they could be included in.
Mentioning I have an offer to go boating might get me in trouble based on the timing but thanks all the same.
PS- as you can tell by my attire I'm double duty crewing on the Love Boat!

Sorry to hijack a good thread and a nice gesture.....
Good for you, I know the importance of family, especially in Thailand.
Your wife looks lovely, a happy couple. When you get a little bit older, you'll be asking why are Thai girls so much more photogenic than us 'farang'? Lol

Enjoy your stay, Chok dee!
