Default Best prop for an 05 heat with stock 496 mag ho

Lots of old treads on here, wondering if anybody had any up to date info? Im running a bravo 4 blade 26pitch its was labbed I believe at some point but I hit something and bent it and had it rebuilt and they put it back to stock since they don't lab them.

A labbed 26 B1 with the blade thinning and weight reduction will spin about the same as a stock 24 B1. The handing might be different with top end very close from what I have done.

Anybody ever try a 5 blade px5? What speed/handling differences would I see from a stock bravo 26p over a labbed?

What speeds are you seeing at what rpm?

With a 496HO? My best was around 68 with a balanced and sharpened 24 B1, light load, with the tide, with the wind, light fuel, one person, never duplicated.

On the topic of props -- I'm on the hunt for a used stock RH spinning 4 blade 24P B1, or labbed/thinned 26P B1, or 25P P5X.
